How old are you?
I'm 53 and I build piers for people and work on the water doing marine construction.
I went to school for IT, repaired computers and all kinds of stuff but I always ended up in construction. I'm in pretty good shape. I get sun. I jump in the water when I want to.
You could work with your hands and develop a side gig while earning and learning a different path.
This type of work is not going away. Humans always need shelter and food and you can work with others building with raw materials while orange pilling and stacking sats.
