Stacker News is now awarding Cowboy Credits. It's an internal shitcoin to keep financial regulators at bay. It's no good
Stacker wasn't introducing this without notification but like everything in this world I'm in denial until I get the message. I'm the last 2 days I earned Cowboy Credits instead of sats for participating and posting. This is no good. I spent real sats to post and they have been converted into Shitcoins.
Having spent way too much time in 2019 and 2020 shitcoining I'm not going to try to understand the reasoning. I've given myself till Monday, 20250106 decide if it's even worth wasting time there. Most of the interesting content is also posted here and you can read without spending any sats and you can comment here for free.
I don't want Cowboy Credits. I certainly don't want to invest my Bitcoin in an arbitrary walled garden.
