In September 2016 it was rainy and cold and this gray cat wandered up to our door. I said to my wife, "If she hangs around for 3 more days I will take her to the SPCA and check her for a chip, get her shots and take her into our home.

She stayed.

She is still with us. We have two cats.

We have children and grandchildren. Everyone lives somewhere else. It's just my wife and I and two cats in a small townhouse. We have an enclosed backyard in the city and they hang out with us there.

This cat is a Russian Blue. She has green eyes and gray fur. Every morning she wakes me up at 4 and gets me moving. When I do yoga and meditate she sits beside me and at least touches me with her tail. When I am finished she gets up, stretches and follows me down stairs.
