Good Morning,
How many of us have gone whoring after other gods? I certainly have. In the past I would have been stoned to death. Instead I openly whored myself with t-shirts, statues and paraphernalia that was unnecessary and evil.
For me it all started with a Jack Daniels t-shirt, then Judas Priest, and then the Dead Kennedy's. Eventually I rejected my baptism, Christianity and I went whoring after other gods.
When I was ready, Jesus forgave me and saved me. We still have a statue in my house and my wife is attached to it. I hate it. I tell her that it's an abomination. I made her put it on the floor.
I asked my wife to marry me in a Buddhist temple. We did this 18 years ago. Ironically the monks had to confess that legally they could not marry us after the ceremony. Two days later a Justice of Peace married us. The LORD works in mysterious ways.
